Approximate Seeds per Packet: 50
Variety/Hardiness: Annual
Sunlight: Full Sun
Mature Height: 18″ - 28"
Germination: 5-14 days at 21-26°C
Sowing:
Transplant: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost, 1/8" deep. Transplant out after all threats of frost have passed.
Direct Seeding: Not recommended.
Care: No special care is required. Cut low and deep into the plant to encourage more branching when harvesting; pinching in the seedling stage is not necessary.
Harvesting:
Fresh: Harvest when stems feel stiff but before shedding pollen. Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.
Dried: Makes a great dried flower. Harvest when flowers are fully open (it is okay if pollen is present) and stems are stiff. Hang to dry in a dim location with ample air circulation.
