Sowing:
Transplant (recommended): Start seeds 6 - 8 weeks before the last frost, sowing 1/8" deep. Transplant out after the last threat of frost has passed.
Direct Seeding: Plant directly in the garden once the soil temperature is 18-21°C and threat of frost has passed. Thin seedlings as needed
Harvesting:
Fresh: When harvesting choose stems where the seed head has changed from green to a cream color.
Dried: Harvest before seed heads shed pollen. Hang to dry.
Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.
