Sowing:

Direct Seeding: Sow 2-3 months before the first frost.
Care: Spacing up to 24" apart. Divide every few years to prevent overcrowding. Tolerant of poor soil conditions.
Harvesting:
Fresh: Harvest when petals are expanding. Center of bloom should be raised and a golden color.
