Approximate Seeds per Packet: 100
Sunlight: Full Sun
Mature Height: 36″
Germination: 14-21 days at 13°C. You can place your seed packet in the freezer for 2 weeks to help improve germination rates (cold stratification).

Direct Seeding (recommended): Direct seed is recommended when soil temperatures are below 13° C. Sow 1/4" deep, covering with soil. Maintain moisture levels of the soil until seedlings emerge.
Care: Note that larkspur gets quite tall so it is recommended that you provide horizontal netting or other supports for the plant to prevent broken or bent stems.
Fresh: When harvesting, choose stems where about half of the blooms are open at the base of the stem. Adding flower preservative in their water will prolong their vase life.
Dried: Retains colour well once dried. Harvest when stems are fully open and hang upsidedown in a dim, well-ventilated location.
Note: LARKSPUR IS POISONOUS IF INGESTED! Exercise caution around children, pets, or livestock. Purchasers of this variety assume all risks and liabilities associated with growing larkspur.
